A resident of Effingham since 2011, Leo is an antique and restoration enthusiast. Recently retired, Leo worked for 47-years as an engineer for Goss International designing and manufacturing printing presses. He started his career as a machinist and earned a degree in Business Management. His leadership skills included taking on supervisory roles as a manufacturing engineer and value engineer. Leo's long career as an engineer and critical thinking design background allows him to contribute his skills to the restoring of the Historic Town Hall-Library. He has been involved with a few local historic preservation organizations and has been the Treasurer of the Effingham Preservation Society since 2013 and was the Effingham Budget Committee Vice-Chair. Leo is the current Effingham Board of Selectmen Chairperson. In addition, Leo lives in Effingham with his wife, Rhonda, and their young dogs, Cooper and Meadow. Hiking, gardening and restoring old vehicles are just a few of his life's passions.
