- Completed! - Restore front exterior double doors, transom window and door sidelight windows
PHASE 2b PROJECT GOAL
THROUGH December 2023 Overall Project cost estimate: $361,640
- Hire construction project manager to oversee restoration and ensure quality construction
- Confirm building construction work with historic architect plans.
- Repair, restoration and rehabilitation of 2nd & 3rd floor historic windows
- Restore front interior double doors and rear exterior double doors
- Rehabilitate the four historic cloverleaf windows & cupola railings in and on bell tower
- Insulate partial 1st floor ceiling
- Remove remaining suspended ceiling tiles; restore ceiling to near original height; rehabilitate plaster ceiling and repair plaster walls
- Electrical wiring upgrades will include: new interior wiring for remainder of 1st floor, 2nd floor large community room, foyer winding staircase and 6-story bell tower. Add LED lighting to 1st floor ceilings, restore 2nd floor ceiling lighting in large community room. Update the building security system.
- Repair cupola leak in copper cladded floor; require remove and reinstall cast iron bell; restore cupola railings and . . . Ring the bell!
- Up to 10% contingency for unanticipated items

- Reconstruction and rehabilitate 2 first floor bathrooms and to make one ADA accessible.
