Steve started coming to Effingham in the 1970's from his hometown of Arlington, Massachusetts. After 50 years in the Telecom industry, 20 of which were as a project manager, he retired. He and his late wife, Sue, have been residing fulltime in Effingham the past 9- years.
Steve volunteers for the Effingham Preservation Society (EPS) on the team that maintains the building and grounds. Additionally, he assists with numerous EPS functions including the activities of the Historic Town Hall-Library Project. Steve and his late wife successfully have led the Annual Aluminum Can Fundraising Drive for the Historic Town Hall-Library Project. He is an avid hockey fan and a serious collector of Boston Bruins and Moxie memorabilia.
