Bell tower cloverleaf windows

Picture
Did you know . . . that the Historic Town Hall-Library-Masonic Building (HTH) used to have 4 cloverleaf windows in the bell tower (see 1890’ish photo).  Pictures tend to show these were added after the building was built in 1859 and were likely removed sometime in the early 1900’s.  Square 40” windows have been in the tower location ever since.  Bell tower sheathing boards in the area of the cloverleaf windows show that original boards were replaced (possibly with box shipping boards of the era) and stamp-dated “F. L. Haley, N.H. August 1, 1875”.  Restoring the 4 cloverleaf windows is part of the HTH-Library Restoration Project.  Your donation support to the HTH Project will help us achieve this and related preservation goals.
